In this org, that’s really saying something.  Gunnar, Cowser and others have pretty great plate discipline.  And an 18-year old tops them in BA’s view.

25 walks and 12 k’s overall.   10 walks and 2 k’s in FCL.   10 walks and 3 k’s in his last 7 Delmarva gains.   At 21, that’s exceptional.  At 18, it’s off the charts.

Thinking about guys like Kjerstad, Povich, Ortiz, Norby, Fabian, Beavers... and compared to say Mayo, Stowers, etc., even Mountcastle and to some degree those aging/arb'ing/FA'ing.

Just a guess, but if Cedric is still in our lineup in 2026 (which would mean we extended or re-signed him), he’ll still be the CF and Cowser will be in a corner.  I don’t think Cedric’s offense will carry him in a corner spot by then.

Yeah.  That’s from BA, not me just to be clear.  I would guess he’s not on the team at all in 2026.
