Umpire Scorecard Thread

How does the robo-ump zone work for the varying heights and batting stances of every hitter? Do they have some sort of electronics in the jersey to set the strike zone for each hitter?

Just thinking Ricky Henderson's box would have been as flat as they come

Never seen a scorecard where the two most impactful calls of the game were to the same batter, same AB, on back to back pitches. That should be so embarrassing to MLB and the umpires themselves that Kulpa be kept from behind the plate the rest of the year.

It uses percentages of height. Doesn't account for stances. It's weird that this doesn't come up more often.

I’m concerned about our inevitable AI Skynet overlords, but at least they’ll call a better game than that.

I wonder how sky net will adjust for different heights of players as well as their different batting stances.

I think Hernandez has been out for most of the season with some kind of injury, and has just come back.
