Yep, and McKenna is faster and a better RF so you pinch run there, he scores, and you have your better defender in with the lead.   Sounds like a major strategic blunder to me, granted that I am following on gameday and didn't actually see the play.

This just in (very reactionary)...we aren't very good. I know you can't base anything on one series, but the hitting is inconsistent and most of the pitching is useless. Some parts of the BP are pretty good, one good starter for now and a couple of fast guys who will steal a lot. But in this division it looks like back to the cellar.

Vavra was out by a mile, was not a close play whatsoever

Laureano has one of the best arms in MLB.   And Adley up next.  I get wanting to try to get the winning run across in the bottom of the 8th, but that's a tough chance to take.
