They could have used Bader.  Everyone else... not really sure they'd be an upgrade for anyone.

I'm guessing Bader as he'd have been a significant upgrade over McKenna, especially against LH pitching.

I mean good for Cle. What do they have to lose?  Why not take the chance?  If they sneak into the playoffs, the extra revenue will have been worth it and maybe they get hot at the right time.

Clevinger and Carrasco cleared waivers per MLBTR.

Would Clevinger be a guy anyone would want to take a chance on?   Carrasco is an obvious "no".
