This is it.   A hitter with two strikes is also locked into protecting the whole plate and more likely to get locked up on that inside fastball.

Our bullpen seems to do that often. Bring in a reliever and walk the first batter. I hate it when that happens.

Bumping this thread because both times we hit White Sox batters tonight, it was on an 0-2 count.  Drives me frigging nuts!   

6 of our 18 HBP have come on 0-2 counts.  10 of 18 with two strikes.  It’s maddening.
