Many of us can't stand home plate umpiring, but it's sad that MLB won't or can't make real changes to how these umps are judged.  Stop rotating and take the best 15 ball and strike callers and make them permanent, until one or more fall below standards.

Or have 5 new umps every year who are going to take the jobs of the worst rated umpires.  I bet calls would improve quickly.
