Mayo, with the oppo power has gone from top 100 type prospect to who knows.   Holliday, Basallo, and Mayo.   That’s 3 elite prospects, IMO.   If Mayo could somehow stick at 3rd, it would be the perfect fit.

Actually, I just answered my own question. According to milb.com, the game will be televised on MLB Network. Starts at 10pm ET on Saturday.

I wonder how many teams have won 100 games and had their AAA team win a title the same year?  Probably more frequent than I think considering the Dodgers will do it this year too. Pretty exciting though, especially considering who the main contributors were in game 3.

I actually think the perfect fit would be Mayo at 1B.

How about that Championship game?

Mayo goes 4-for-4 with an oppo bomb.

Holliday goes yard.

Ortiz with another gold glove caliber play at second base.

Povich goes 4 scoreless with 4Ks (needed too many pitches to get there though)

Stowers with a nice play in RF.

Norby has two hits including a triple while playing LF.

Cowser hits a 2B.

Literally all of these guys are major league caliber players playing in AAA. 

It's good to be an Orioles fan right now!

That’s where I have Basallo playing most of the time in 2025.  There are multiple ways to go.  Westburg at 3B, Holliday at 2B or vice versa.  Ortiz instead of Westburg.   For 2024, I think we see the O’Hearn/Mountcastle or even Santander at 1B.  Really, it’s going to be interesting.   Basallo could be the 1B by 2025.   Or Mayo.

Giving up on Westburg?   Not at all but Mayo maybe has more firepower in his bat.  Westburg’s best position looks like 2B.   Should he play there over  Holliday?   Westburg might wind up at 3B or maybe Holliday does.  Westburg along with Ortiz can handle all 3 spots and maybe even some OF.  Maybe he becomes a super utility guy.  I don’t think we’ve seen the best of Westburg yet.   Judging by his minor league numbers and video he should be a 25 homer infielder.   I still believe in him.
