Not really sure why anyone wants Webb in the pen. We need to add 2 arms and both should be higher leverage, power type arms. 
 

You can get a Webb type guy whenever you want one.

Except from our farm system, apparently. Baumann was good until he wasn't. Gillaspie was bad and is gone. Krehbiel was lucky but is bad and now a free agent. There were no other good RH options down there. We can hope for McDermott next year. 

Like if they were found everywhere, we wouldn't have to claim them on waivers, we'd just have them already. I dunno. Webb was really good most of his time here. Without him immediately being awesome after the claim when the pen was completely taxed, we might have really been in a bad spot. 

There's definitely a decent chance they don't tender him a contract, but he's a good insurance policy if Elias once again fails to read the off-season market.

This will be my second trip to the online dictionary.  I’ve always felt my vocabulary was cromulent.

I'm surprised by Mateo and McKenna being offered contracts.  I just don't see a spot for Mateo with all the prospects coming up.  McKenna's value is really limited by no longer having options.  Will be interesting if either of them are traded.  I can't see either having more than minimal trade value.
