It seems like the more guys like Irvin or DL Hall get stretched out, we see a few ticks on their velocity get sacrificed for more innings. When they only have to work 1 or 2 innings it's easy to throw as hard as you can. 

And on that thought, it makes me more amazed at what Grayson Rodriguez can do with his velocity and what he did in the 2nd game of the season.

I don’t think Kemp is long for this team except if Elias makes a trade. There are too many players in the organization who are better. Ideally I want to see Mateo as the super sub in the infield and outfield. 

Mateo and Kemp are redundant with Mateo being the more useful roster piece.
