There's something vaguely depressing about the thread tile "Four at the Trop."

I don’t even like watching games on TV at the Trop. Certainly zero interest in ever attending a game there. Gross. 
 

Four in a row there is brutal but all the talk of 3 outta 4 being a ‘must’ is a little silly. Want to see it but not like splitting a four game road series is the end of the world. Y’all are setting yourself up for disappointment.

Are the Rays any closer to getting a new stadium? I tried reading a couple articles and got tired. They do seem to have recently released some artistic renderings of their dream—which don’t seem all that different than the Trop: https://www.tampabay.com/sports/2024/05/30/rays-stadium-renderings-matt-silverman-st-petersburg-pinellas-populous/

I believe the vote on the plan is imminent.  It involves a lot more than just  the ballpark.

I believe it when I see it. The stories about Rays’ viability in Tampa been circulating for years .  Poor attendance , construct new ballpark downtown Tampa , splitting games with Montreal  , etc . All talk but no action.  Hopefully Rays and public officials find solutions soon
