There is the Orioles closer... went right at each hitter with fastballs.. 95-97.. right move making him the closer for now.. could care less if gonzalez comes back.. another over paid veteran on the team.. let the kids play.. nice win

I will second that! I would love for him to come in and become the sick solid amazing setup guy he has been his whole life. IF, we could lock down the 8th and 9th every game this season could turn around quite quickly. Get JJ back and the 7th could be taken care of as well. Work in Koji and the off days might not be so bad either.

Now, that we know that we have another young arm that is capable of pitching in the Majors (albeit a small sampling), it will be interesting to see how much longer the Orioles wait on any potential trades that may come their way. :scratchchinhmm:

:D He is still really raw, not a whole lot outside the sick 2-seam, but wow what a fighter. Cano's 2nd at-bat he had him 0-2 and then had two fouled off only to see a double worked into the hole in RF, then Markakis bobbles another that could have easily been foul to turn in a triple. Never gave up, kept rolling, racked up Ks and got the team in position to do what it did. :clap3:
