You shouldn't underestimate the Yankee voting bloc. They don't look at stats, just pinstripes. -
OPS+ and wOBA no, WAR yes. WAR includes a baserunning component, which itself includes a base stealing value component along with other baserunning things. Not sure if the fWAR and rWAR baserunning calculations are exactly the same but I know they both do this. -

Yeah, I wouldn't go past 4 years. If you have to have a 5th year option in there, fine. I like that he's built like a brick $%^!house. Probably doesn't help prevent from injuries but in my mind it does. -
Would he go for 5/$175? -
