I'm not usually one to second guess, but Samuel gave this one away. Hernandez should have gotten the save in the 9th.

What makes you think DH doesn't get torched in the ninth as well?

As bad as it ended, still a lot of good things to take from this game

- Pie looks good, and is back.

- Wieters had 2 extra base hits

- Nick showed off the power stroke

- An excellent outing from one of the cavalry

Sucks how it ended, but there are still positives...

He crushed it and there was nothing Izturis could do there. And I'm sure Patterson wanted that ball to go through, unfortunatly it's not up to him once his hits it.

Maybe but all the time people ***** about letting relievers go more than 1 inning and tonight Berken, Simon and DH all let up runs in their second inning.

I didnt mind pitching DH yesterday but he should of used Mata in the 8th once we were down 5 runs.
