McLouth has better speed and base stealing ability which I think should make him the leadoff hitter with Nick matting 2nd.

I prefer Markakis at leadoff because of his higher OBP, with McLouth hitting 2nd because of his ability to pull the ball through the hole. Really...neither are bad options.

Agreed. Hopefully our 2013 starting 2B is yet to be acquired, but I'd have to say Flaherty is the most likely candidate to start when looking strictly within the organization at present.

If you believe Duquette, they are done at 2B for 2013. And I believe him. Going into the spring, Roberts is Plan A, Casilla is Plan B, and Flaherty is Plan C. That's pretty reasonable to me.
