I could feel you smiling all the way over here. I know what you mean. I said in the Hunter thread, it's temporary before I read anything about what Buck said. I knew he couldn't admit it was a good move that benefited the team without it coming down to being rest for JJ. That's how he would explain it of course. He can't lose a good piece in Johnson either though.

I am pretty positive about this one. Him or Strop would have lost the game if they were brought in. JJ is not a closer. He had good effort last year but he doesn't strike out enough guys. And his sinker hasn't been sinking.

Enough is enough. Buck can't keep letting him cost us game after game. Is it 7 now? Hunter needs to close, and JJ needs to fix whatever is causing his control problems in a no pressure role.
