Dr. Kremcheck specializes in elbow injuries and Kremcheck specializes in knee injuries. Not sure what that means or gives us any clues.

"We're extremely disappointed based upon the original agreement that Xavier won't be a member of the Orioles," Meister said. "We recognize it for what it is: a grievance situation."

Meister maintains his client was examined by several other team doctors who gave their clubs clearance, and claims the Orioles "reneged" on an agreement that carried no contingency.

Hernandez never pitched again.

Here's Levinson's statement in its entirety: "Grant is completely healthy and that was told to us today by Dr. Koco Eaton, a well-respected club physician. Dr. Eaton’s opinion is based upon the fact that the MRI which was taken today is the same as the MRI which was taken in 2011 as a condition of the 3-year contract that Grant signed with the A’s. Dr. Tim Kremchek, another well-respected club physician, reviewed the Orioles’ medical report and advised that he is remarkably impressed that there has been little change in Grant’s arm for almost 10 years. Now factor into the equation that Grant was a 2013 All Star, pitched 65 games and another 3 scoreless innings in the post season with a 94-95 mph fastball. The only reasonable conclusion is that Grant is healthy and the Orioles at the last moment changed their minds.''

So go back and sign him to the original offer then... others are saying he's healthy.

What, you're going to trust Balfour, Balfour's doctors, and Balfour's agents? I have it on good authority that the O's doctors discovered a serious medical issue that totally warrants backing out of the deal; specifically, they found that Grant Balfour is actually a Tyrannosaur.

I also have it on good authority that the Orioles' lead physician is this guy:

Hi everybody.
