I can't believe that Delmon Young is only 28. I honestly don't see a problem with bringing him in here on a minor-league deal.

Young can at least be useful as part of a DH platoon, but Cust? I don't get it, even as a depth move. He was finished years ago.

He's made some bone headed mistakes in his baseball life, but I have no problem with a minor league invite either.

Jack Cust has been out of the game for over 2 full years.

He did play 114 games in the minors in 2012.

I mean, it'd be kind of a Nick Johnson signing I guess. Wouldn't hurt to stash him at AAA. Pretty humorous, though.

Yeah...no harm in a minor deal. I couldn't figure out why we let him go way back when. The guy put up OBP numbers...but I remember they were disappointed in the strikeouts.
