C'mon this is just ludicrous. Every team who as won it all or advanced to the WS in the last decade, save for the Red Sox, and the Yankees, has done it on a budget.

Contrary to popular belief, not all teams are playing with monopoly money.

I don't buy it. The Orioles were swept out of the ALCS last year and what did they do in the offseason to improve? Nothing, they have a worse team and their window is fast closing.

After we get to see Miller 19 times this year, DD may think twice about not having signed him. The bullpen is a hot mess right now. Nobody knew what Matusz was or wasn't doing, Wright is hurt, brach is not pitching well, Gausman is young, O'Day is not lights out any more, hunter is well hunter. If Britton regresses any, we will be very hard pressed indeed.

Miller was the one guy I wanted to resign out Cruz, Markakis and him. I felt he was that important to our bullpen especially with so many 90-pitch, six innings starters that we have.
