But could Angelos do tha? Wouldn't that be a conflict of interest?

The Nationals have not actively sought a naming rights partner in seven or eight years, but now hope to find one. SBJ pointed to the Mets and their 20-year, $400 million deal with Citi Group, and the Braves' 25-year, $250M+ agreement with SunTrust for their new stadium (set to open in 2017) as contemporary examples of naming rights deals.

The idea that they could get anything in the realm that the Braves or the Mets got is silly. If only because the stadium has been open 8 years. You have to think that naming rights on a stadium that has been open for that long are worth less than slapping a corporate name on a new building. People have been calling it Nationals Park for years and I would think that fact hurts their naming rights price.

Not if they put a big Photo of Peter at the Law Office on the time piece. Or better yet - build a hotel, obscuring the view of the Capitol and the Washington Monument, and have a LED Billboard of him on that.

Nats should just include naming rights as part of a contract with Bryce Harper if they want any shot of keeping him away from the MFY.
