The Pearce reunion has really contributed a lot thus far. Between players who have no position so we can't play them in NL games, like Pedro, to pitchers who we only put in if the game is out of hand, like Ubaldo, to guys that are injured but still sitting on a roster slot, like Pearce, it is not surprising we had to pinch hit with a pitcher.
