I think I am rooting for the Yankees to retain at a well-earned longer contract with a big raise.  It is a magnificent hit tool, but I do think an Age 34-35 second baseman on Years 3-4 of 4 in 2023-2024 at $20M+ is an obligation most teams wouldn't want.

Cano had his last 600 PA season at 34.

Age 32-33 LeMahieu probably an asset to the Cole supporting cast.  He'll be an interesting litmus test for owners crying poverty; in normal times, these 2 years are the kind of thing that makes some team sign on for known decline years.

Now I can relax and enjoy the playoffs.  No matter who wins now, it won't bother me all winter, like it would have if the Yankees had won the WS. The Yankees lose!
