Konner Wade optioned after last night's game

Haven't heard the corresponding roster move yet.   Could it be tonight's starter that comes up?

A lot of sites are listing Ellis as our starter.   Fangraphs depth chart page projects Dean Kremer as our starter tonight.

MLB announced that we don’t get a corresponding move because it was dumb to call him up to begin with, so we are being penalized.

Hyde said 'Mix-and-match bullpen game" today in his post game presser.  So we should definitely be the favorites against Ohtani.

Kremer just pitched in relief yesterday for Norfolk, so I doubt it's him.

Watch it be a bullpen game against Ohtani starting that breaks the losing streak. (probably not)

Gutierrez was up last night.   He and Wade both played in the game.

Ah, shows how close I,'ve been paying attention. Must have been an extra move that even Roch/MLBTR missed.

It’s like the Verlander game a few years ago.  The Os were one of them biggest underdogs in years in that game and won.

Before last night, Richie Martin went down and Maikel Franco was DFA'd.   Jahmai Jones and Gutierrez came up.

After the game, Wade was sent down.

So we have a spot.   Someone is on their way from Norfolk now, we just don't know who it is yet.  Wonder if they are taking the bridge/tunnel and coming up the Eastern Shore or coming via Richmond/DC and hitting a lot of traffic?
