Santander to play some first base?

He’s been practicing and according to Hyde today it could happen soon. 
 

if Odor can play 3b and Santander 1b you don’t need Nevin and can bring up stowers (it’s debatable whether you need Nevin anyways, but he’s still there)

Yeah this certainly feels like it would be done to get Nevin off the roster and bring up Stowers. If that were to happen Hyde would have some pretty dynamic lineup flexibility.

The Yankees know about Odor at 3B. More to the point, why the heck would the Orioles move him around the diamond when better players should be up?

Just put Hays on the IL and let him heal up for the home stretch, it's not like he's been mashing lately and we're going to miss his bat for a week.

Vavra or Stowers. It doesn’t mean Mountcastle is permanently benched, just gives him some days off and ability to rotate other guys in to the lineup.

Hmmm 7 seasons in minors 6 in majors …. 9 games at first in A ball at Lynchburg 

 

A few grounders and he will be good to go lol
