The home plate umpire should have been able to see Vavra was running down the baseline and didn't interfere with the throw.

The Rays runner was further out of the lane and DID cause RM to avoid him to catch the ball. The ball from Kluber wasn’t close and Vavra had nothing to do with how far the ball was offline.
