In the minor league portion we took Alfred Vega, a 21-year old pitcher from the Yankees FCL roster.   We lost Hector Lopez, a 20-year old pitcher who saw limited action at Delmarva this year.

Exactly. Plus Khreibel has options. Actually a bunch of our pen has options and with a 26 man roster we could carry this guy if he has success. 
 

Seems like a guy that has a funky delivery that could be smoothed out and his pitch arsenal paired down.

Politi cleared 50 AAA innings and ran a K-BB around where Michael Baumann and Denyi Reyes were.

Looks like he also closed probably about as much as anyone else on the Boston AAA roster while he was there.

Played with A+ Hickory last season: .242/.331/.353 with 8 XBH in 51 games. And he’s a lefty hitter
