2023 Ongoing Lineup Thread

My opening day lineup would have been:

Mullins CF, Adley C, Henderson 3B, Santander RF, Mountcastle 3B, Hays LF, Stowers DH, Westburg 2B, Mateo SS

But what do I know.

The Stowers disrespect continues. He won’t be in Saturday’s lineup either with Sale pitching.

Hyde has a lot to keep up with shuffling all these guys around. I guess it's better than scanning the waiver wire at the end of the spring to fill out the squad as we saw for years around here.

I honestly don't mind Gunnar staying out of the cold most of the game.

I think it's probably too early to say that Gunnar is a better 3B than Urias. Has the upside to be, for sure. But for game 1, I get it. Put the proven guys in the field with your veteran on the mound. Henderson will get plenty of time to prove he's the best defender over there.

I meant Frazier, but it's all good.  It seems like a nod to the veterans.  That's fine.

I have a feeling our offense won’t be so underrated for too long. Great defense. Great speed. Good balance. Mountcastle and Mullins are prime bounce back candidates.
