We have a 5 game lead for a WC. I hope we get hot when the playoffs start, and all will be well. -
We definitely needed that, although what would really make me feel much better is just one very convincing win....like what the Braves did to Cincinnati today, or what the Mets do seemingly every night. Just one win against a decent team (not Colorado or Chicago) where the outcome isn't in doubt in the later innings. Our last game like that was July 31 against Toronto....a long time ago. Imagine how good that would feel to have a game like that. -

o dancing for me. Right before gametime today, I twisted my ankle, or so I thought. Skipping ahead a few hours, I was on the way to Urgent Care when the Giants tied the game, and I was on the X-ray table when Tony hit the game-winner. Seconds later, I learned I had two small fractures. I guess that takes me out of next week's games at Yankee Stadium. I may need a deep playoff run to get to the Yard. Maybe Westburg or Urias will hit one for me. -

Saturday or Sunday games could be games to clinch playoffs so might get sell outs. -

Yes right now we wouldn’t have the tiebreaker in a 3 team tie scenario if we go 1-5 or worse vs the Twins and Tigers. However 2 wins gets us to 6-6 in those 12 games round robin type and either the Twins or Tigers will be 1 game under which will give us the tie breaker advantage.
