Calling in sick is a tried and true technique of employees who have little power to fight back.  Teachers use it all the time.  Sometimes nurses do it.  

I would not be shocked if Palmer is behind the revolt against Angelos and he is calling the shots of the other players.  Everyone is going to do what Palmer wants.  Every ex player for sure.  Palmer is the Pope around here.
