To me the 43 years puts it in perspective. Maybe the game has changed or maybe we have just been poorly run, but that is a long time. Sure we have had some good teams in that span but you kinda need either 100 or a WS (preferably both) to be great.

Well, by Pythag they’re “only” a 93-win team, so yeah, they could drop under 100 even if the talent level is a little better.   At the same time, the AL East may not be this strong every year.  That’s less important with the new balanced schedule though.
