I expect they'll pull Irvin when the score gets 8-6, hopefully that's into the 6th inning at least.

There are only two guys on this NYY team who can really beat you, it's Soto and Judge. Irvin should have been a bit more careful.

He's not really in a funk. Through yesterday's terrible AB, he's hitting 286 over the last 6 games. Ever since he came off the IL, he's hitting 333 with an OPS of 907.

I think the main issue w/ Hays is that his ABs are usually very fast. So it makes him look incompetent when he strikes out on like 3 or 4 pitches. Especially when they're in pressing situations like last night and today. 

He's better than the hate he gets, but his ABs are brutal to watch sometimes.

Two high-scoring offenses going against each other make 8-3 seem more like a 2-run game.

Maybe they’ll let Hays hit with a tennis racket next time. On a day everybody is killing the ball, he can’t even put it in play.

Last time I checked going by runs scored per game. We have a better offense.
