I saw an interesting video the other day comparing AI with the data collection craze last decade. Seems like the people that get rich are the ones selling shovels. -
I don't mind the site having ads, it's the random pop-ups from clicking on random spots on the board. It seems to only happen on ios devices. Any type of link on the board (next page, reply, quote, etc) will randomly take you to some ad or popup page. You go back to what you're looking at move the page a little and it will do what you intended. It's annoying. Especially when you just typed a reply and hit send. It goes to some random site and loses what you wrote. -
Oh I’m not being critical, I’m here for the entertainment. -
It is bitterly humorous to constantly read guys saying, “we shouldn’t Trade…” and then mention the only guys who have any trade value. If we are going to acquire anybody meaningful, and at this point, I think we very much need meaningful acquisitions, we’re going to have to pay for them and we’re going to have be willing to trade from among our top five guys. As @spiritof66 pointed out very well, when you grow bats and buy arms, the resulting disparity in the farm means that sometimes you got to spend in order to accomplish a goal. The question is now how soon is necessary, what can we get and what do we have to pay? Fuji and Flaherty were not the cavalry over the hill, and that’s what we need. -
You wont know until you use it. I mostly I ask it question about stocks but its advanced intelligence. It has potential to do alot of things like predict future outcomes. -
I thought this thread was a joke, but now I get it. -
In the abstract, I can understand adjusting the limit if there are intervening circumstances. But in practice, I'm not sure what those circumstances would be here. If anything, the division/league feels more out of reach than before the season given how the Yankees have looked.
