Have you met Mark Reynolds? That sort-of comes with the territory. The guy misses more balls in the zone than just about anyone in baseball. (I still like him, though.)

It's just bizarre. Most guys strike out when they guess wrong, or because they can't catch up to a pitch, etc. Reynolds just has like a 25% chance to miss the ball any time he swings the bat.
