Adley might be the most disappointing part of the offense for me just due to what we expect out of him. If you told me Mullins, Hays, Urias, and McCann would all be hitting like this I would be surprised but not shocked. If you told me that Rutschman’s BB rate was 5%, his K% would increase by 4%, his whiff rate would increase by 5%, and his chase rate would increase by almost 10%, I would be shocked. His xWOBA went from 93rd percentile to 73rd percentile too. His new “approach” isn’t working and the lineup desperately needs him to be more patient. He’s only swinging at pitches in the zone and edge pitches 1% more. The real difference is that he’s swinging at 7% more meatballs (which is good) and he’s chasing out of the zone way more. Being aggressive in the zone is fine (which he is doing on meatball pitches) but selling out on pitches that aren’t in the zone doesn’t make much sense. -
I'll probably add him to the players to keep an eye on right now. He doesn't throw particularly well so there is some question on whether he can be an effective backup. Seems to have some ability to hit though. -
I believe Kevin is heading off to do the Women's College World Series for ESPN very soon, so we will be forced to live without him for a few weeks. Probably won't have Ben for much of the next month either as he does college baseball. -

@Tony-OH where would you slot Hunt in on our top 30 prospect list? MLB pipeline has him at a 40 overall grade. -
