I know I'm nitpicking here but how do you go up to bat, see 5 pitches, and not swing at any of them when you are one swing away from history? One of those pitches was exactly the same pitch as he's hit out twice. Against a pitcher of this caliber, he has to be up there hacking.

I know there's a lot of talk about whether Machado should be hitting second. I'm still not convinced, but I do have to say this -- in the games so far, he's making excellent contact. Keep putting the bat on the ball, Manny, and the hits will keep coming.
