Time for these road warriors to win some games at home

2-game winning streak on the road, Franklinarian.

Still, the Orioles have a better record at home than they do on the road:

o

HOME:O 43-28 (.606)

ROAD:O 41-31 (.569)

Who will win the title (and the subsequent) bragging rights at season's end ???

The Orioles home team, or the Orioles road team ???

What a battle !!!

And "The Road Warriors" sweep the Red Sox in Boston to inch closer to "The Home Boys."

This one will likely go right down to the wire.

o

HOME BOYS:OOOOo. 43-28 (.606)

ROAD WARRIORS:O 43-31 (.581)

I think that the Road Warriors may be sunk, after the Orioles just took 3 out of 4 from the Yankees in Oriole Park.

The Home Boys have put the Road Warriors on life support by winning 6 out of their first 7 games on this final, 10-game home-stand.

Their "magic number" to clinch a tie is 1, and their "magic number" to clinch a win is 2.

What an absolutely incredible turnaround. A 19-5 record in their last 24 games at home. And 51-21 in their last 72 games, a .708 (!) winning percentage in that span. This is really the one that will break the mold, because no matter how deep they sit in the standings in future years, people will always say, "Well, they can always go on a 70-game tear like they did in '14". We're in rarefied air, folks. Enjoy every minute of this while it lasts. I sure as heck have.

How did 49-29 go from .613 to .628? Something is off.

Eben though they lost 2 out of 3 games to the red Sox, the Home Boys still finish the season strong.

The Road warriors have to go undefeated in their last 7 games just to salvage a tie.

The O.P. (June 22nd)

23-18 on the road

16-17 at home

Time to start giving the home fans something to cheer for! There's still time to have June turn out to be a great month (12-8 so far).

Since Frobby Started This Thread:

o

34-14 (.708)

Wooooooo hooooooo, Frank !!!

I need to think about it, but I think the O's were undefeated in the games I attended at OPACY this year. They really did play great at home down the stretch.

I'm pretty sure they said they were 31-10 in their last 41 games at home on the broadcast last night.

With a loss to the Yankees in the Bronx tonight, the Road Warriors have been mathematically eliminated.

It was a good battle.
