"I never heard nothing like this," Cruz said. "It was so loud. My ears were ringing."

Someone add the Benny Hill theme in to that.

I'm kinda glad I wasn't there. I would have completely embarrassed myself, screaming, crying, hugging strangers, high fiving random terrified small children. Winning Orioles baseball is a community affair for me.

After Delmon doubled, I high-fived just about everyone within striking distance. When I turned around with two hands outstretched over my head, a very, very small woman behind looked, basically, terrified.

And then I high-fived her anyway.

We were at both games and just had an amazing time. When Young hit that double, I was more excited than I've been since my wedding day 19 years ago. It was overwhelming. What a fun team. The crowd was amazing and it was very clear to me that it was bothering Detroit, especially their relievers. They looked uncomfortable.

Joba was rattled before he even threw a pitch. The false bravado of the doff of his cap almost telegraphed his fate. I've never seen/heard 48,000 people collectively toy with an opposing team's psychology so effectively.
