Fried is coming off surgery, so I think using Harvey in the trade alone would've beaten this package.

No way. Harvey has more value then Fried.

They were both ranked in the 50's by Baseball America coming into the season. Fried's surgery throws a monkey wrench into things though. The other two guys probably have more value than Walker and Sisco though.

The previous GM was fired for doing a good job building for the future. So, he's using the chips he inherited to do something now. It will be interesting to see how this all works out.
