Bah humbug. UZR says his glove sucks. Pay no attention to what's in front of your eyes.

Rickard did make a number of blunders early on -- he really wasn't a good defender in April -- so perhaps he just needed to get comfortable out there. He does cover ground.

Really what's the number? 2, 3, 5, 10? Did you count them? More than Trumbo?

How many times has Rickard missed the cutoff man in comparison to say Trumbo, Kim, Jones, or Reimold?

I won't try and give it a count but from what I have seen, he has done it more than any of the others this season.

Obviously that is partially a product of more innings in the OF but I also think his rate is higher.

More than Jones? He over throws a lot. Besides missing the cut off man, what other blunders have you seen.

Msnny made an error at SS tonight that Hardy never would have made, double pumping on a throw and then sailing it so that Chris Davis had to jump to make the catch. I won't give him too much grief, since it's the first error he's made in his 10 starts at SS.

I think in time Manny would be a very good SS, maybe a Tulo quality one. But he will always be a better 3B.

Did Trumbo make a good play in right early? I was listening on the radio. Kinsler was on first and Cabrera hit it off the wall. They said he played it off the wall well. Kinsler could have scored.

I did not think he played it particularly well, but the runner did not score, so no harm done.

It was a ball that carried in right. It was definitely uncatchable. He was tracking it, then pulled up and let it bounce off the wall. He played the bounce fairly well. It wasn't a great play by any stretch, and he didn't look great doing it at first, but I would say it was adequate play for RF in OPACY. So it wouldn't lead me to say his glove should be confiscated, but I wouldn't include it in the game highlights, if that makes sense.
