Great news! Just stay healthy (and Bundy too)!

I think we're past the point of Bundy "staying healthy". He's a healthy, valuable, cog of the bullpen. Essentially filling the Worley role while he's been out. Bundy is pitching right now, that is worth a lot. Byron Buxton has been a top prospect for the last 3 years and can't crack a sorry twins team. I'll take Bundy in relief all day.

We still have Bobby just getting back to pitching again. (In AA)

Good. Let him pitch in Aberdeen, or possibly Salisbury or Frederick for the rest of the season, and let him get through the year healthy. No reason to rush him.

From what I've read, they'd like to move him to Frederick pretty soon if he shows he's handling Aberdeen. I don't see him getting beyond Frederick this year unless it's just a look-see at Bowie for 2-3 starts at the end of August.

Frederick makes sense, I had forgotten he pitched so many innings at Delmarva already prior to his health issues. I just want the kid to get a full(ish) season in with no health issues and not be rushed.

Harvey's start is underway. After striking out the first hitter, he allowed a single and then another hitter reached on what has been scored a triple but the runner ahead of him was thrown out at the plate. Harvey then got a fly out to end the inning.

As an aside, either the triple should have been scored a double, or that runner who was thrown out at home is reaaallllly slow.

Not a great outing, 3 IP, 2 R, 5 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 3 K's. But as long as he's healthy, I'll take it.

I was at the game tonight. I don't know how much it means right now, but there were some hard hit balls against him. The defense behind him could have been a little better, also.

On a side note, the Ironbirds have a program for little league teams where the kids get to run out on the field with a player and stand with them during the Anthem. My two kids got to run out with Harvey. I wish I could post some pictures. I don't know how to do it from my iPad.
