I'm not sure, but Al Bumbry was batting .304 heading into the All-Star break in 1973, en route to a .337 season overall and the American League Rookie of the Year award.

I thought he was hurt and had hit the rookie wall. Two huge homers last night. He needs to work on Dickerson with his throws to 2nd. He's has trouble with that before. 

The guy is a stud. An unheralded product of the farm.

Kid's still 2nd in the league in hitting with RISP.  It seems like he's cut from the same cloth as Caleb Joseph in that they study the game 24/7.  But his power to the opposite field sets him apart.

Sometimes there are these players who fly under the radar in the minors and come into their own late. I believe Aaron Judge was like that too?

I have been very impressed with the quickness of his hands. His bat flies through the zone like lightning and balls are flying to all corners of the field. Really didn't need that Davis contract in hind sight. I guess Trey stays in LF for the foreseeable future.

What a beast. Thank you baseball world for undervaluing him, I couldn't take this happening for someone else. It would have been incredibly easy to get him. Incredible miss by everyone.

The ball explodes off his bat unlike anyone else on the team except for Manny, when he manages to make contact. He adjusts at the plate, he looks to drive to RF, he has a good eye. He's everything you wanted in Nolan Reimold minus the speed.
