Ryan McKenna isn’t good Steve. Idk what to tell you

It's a stupid statement to say a guy that is hitting .250 in the major leagues wouldn't hit .250 in Bowie.   I don't know what to tell you.

We have 2 switch hitting outfielders hurt right now.  We had a young outfielder up and he OPSed in the 400s for 60 at bats, AND he is a lefty.

When facing a lefty you want to get RH bats in the lnieup.   McKenna basically only starts vs lefties.   I know he's not a good RH bat, but he is an RH bat.

In Kikuchi's major league career, he gives up a .847 OPS to righties and a .637 OPS to lefties   You really want to start an extra LH bat such as Frazier or O'Hearn in the OF against him, and have a big dropoff from McKenna defensively, given those #s?

Stop getting emotional and use your brain and look at the alternatives.   WIth Santander hurt and Hicks on the IL and our potential best OF bats in Norfolk (Kjerstad, Stowers, Cowser) ALL being lefties, there is currently NO ONE IN THE ORGANIZATION who should be starting against lefties right now.   It's the right move and justifiable by anyone who looks at the facts.
