Kjerstad has already retaken the International League lead in RBI (39) despite being in Baltimore for 3 weeks.  Mayo 2nd with 37.  Heston also 3rd, Mayo tied for 1st in HR.

He still has a chance to be a big part of the 2024 O’s and the OD RF for the 2025 Orioles.

10 strikeouts in his last 4 games.  Seems susceptible to the low breaking pitch.  Keeps going for it and not getting it.

He could be making minor changes just like Holliday. Minor leagues where you can iron things out. It made more sense after I saw Bryan Baker. He obviously was working on that new curveball and it inflated his ERA first month.

Good question.  Could be just a fluke or a slump, or it could be frustration or boredom.  He's human, he knows he's been major league ready for a while and he also knows there is no clear path to regular MLB at bats without some serious injuries to guys in front of him.  I'm thinking Elias has a decision to make by the trade deadline or offseason on whether to give Heston a legit shot at regular MLB at bats or trade him for pitching.

He was not hurt. He was ejected from the game after being hit by a pitch for the third time.
 

You read that right… he was ejected not the pitcher, who had hit four batters by then.
