Untouchable to state the obvious. How high will Basallo and Mayo rank when the major sites do their reranks post draft. We could have 3 in the top 10. Holliday, Mayo, and Basallo.

My friend took his family to to the Baysox game on Friday; he doesn’t have much time to follow the farm system. He asked me who to look out for and I said if Basallo is playing then him.

Few innings later Basallo hit a blast to right; they were in awe.

It’s pretty crazy to think that once the weather gets to 85+ daily that we might have a legit MLB MOO in the minors in Mayo and Basallo. Not just #6-#9 types. 

That’s liftoff 2024 style.

There probably aren't many larger humans than him catching.     That video makes me want to see his one knee stance relative to like Luis Arraez or Jose Altuve in the batter's box.

B-Ref is hanging on to its 6-4, 180 which is I think about the same readout it had for Felix Bautista for a long time.     There was some mid-adolescence moment that was true.

Elbow must feel pretty good. He let that one rip.

I remain optimistic he’ll be able to stick at catcher, particularly once we get an automated strike zone. He’s got the arm, so he’d really have to be horrible at blocking balls to be unplayable back there.
