He is a borderline all-star because outfielders in general beyond Soto, Judge, and Tucker are really weak. -
That was real impressive today. Big time effort. Early on I was a bit concerned. Now we will see him pitch the last game in NY I would imagine. -
Won today and messed up the pattern. Besides that one span we’re pitching struggled we are giving up 3.2 runs a game pretty amazing for a team that needs like 4 new pitchers in a trade in a hurry or season is over. -

So if the umpire bet on baseball does he get a lifetime ban too, or is that just for players? Who could have predicted that mixing gambling and baseball so closely could cause problems? -

The high WHIP and walk rate will not play at this level. That's not a high leverage reliever at the Major League level and that is what we need. Jack Flaherty wasn't performing well before he was traded to the Orioles. I had little reason to believe that he would magically become the type of front line starting pitcher that we need just because he switched the color of his uniform. Now this year's Flaherty, well that's a different story. We gave up a good prospect in Joey Ortiz and we got one of the best starting pitcher's in the sport. Were you okay with that? -
