It’s an official game, what are the chances they called tonight? A wash, no pun intended, and finish it tomorrow before the scheduled game?

Groundskeeper said 45 minutes. Hopefully he’s right.

Don’t look now, but Boston might be pretty good.  Almost all of their starting pitchers have an ERA under 3.00. Rafaela has one fewer homer than Cowser.

And Devers has been on a streak of his own.

we seem to struggle against EVERY pitcher lately...

Yes we have “struggled” to 6-4 in the last 10 games and 29-16 overall record on pace to win 104 games.

Have you noticed how many pitchers we’ve faced with sub 3 ERA’s? Seems like it’s been about 75% of them.

Offenses just stink.

It felt like pitching was going to take a major step back when they banned spydertack or whatever it was called. Gerritt Cole in particular cried like a baby. But lo and behold, it seems as if pitchers are spinning it more than ever. So many junk pitchers.

When we shelled the Seattle pitcher, I knew that was going to be the case. Big fastball pitcher without elite velo. He's the profile we tend to tear apart, and we did. Seems we'd much rather face Rick Vaughn than Eddie Harris.

The schedule game is 1215 but is it feasible to finish today’s game at 12:15 and then play the scheduled game?

That's what would happen if the umpires decide to call it.   Once the game is underway, it is wholly their decision.

I believe Laz Diaz is the crew chief, so it is in his hands.

Norfolk just lost 20-4.  Not much pitching help coming from there.

What do you mean, Bryan Baker threw 0.2 scoreless!

To lower his ERA to 7.80
