I have played against a few guys like this either in tennis in College or on the Pro bowlers tour, and I almost consider then like a savant.  Not tall.  Not huge.  Not athletic.  Just really really REALLY good in what they do.

He’s 6’3” 245 and a massive human being with elite athleticism.

Well to me that is the best illustration on why there re so many arm injuries today.  In 20 years the athlete’s aren’t that much stronger.  They must be throwing the ball all out more often in today’s game than before.  I am not sure how you unring that bell though.
