Don’t know if it’s the coaching, or if Kremer is just this bad, but it seems like every one of his pitches is targeted to the outside half of the plate. Opposing batters can lean out and look for the away pitches, and never need to worry about being busted inside. Ruiz’ single last inning was on a pitch that must have been a foot outside. No way he gets to that if Kremer threw a high inside hard one every once in a while.
