Pie vs. a lefty.

I hope he focuses on improving against lefties in the Winter League, if he goes. That is definitely a weak link in his game. It is hard to justify playing him as the everyday centerfielder and moving Jones to left when he needs to sit against tough lefties and Jones would then have to shift back to center.

I think you give him a batter at a time, but if they want to pull him feeling good, I am okay with that also. Watching the young guys the last week or so makes me feel good about the possibilities.

No way they should bring him out for the 8th. He's almost at 100 pitches.. they are trying to be strict with their innings and why give him an opportunity to ruin a stellar outing?
