You know that is tough to do when the other guy is throwing strike one. We just do not have anyone right now with the exception of markakis when he is hitting well who can get down 0-1 or 0-2 and have any success. And so far Nick has been bad.

Good to see Matusz doing well. I see the Oriole hitters felt they weren't being courteous enough to Anderson the first time up so they went back to letting the opposing pitcher have the customary single-digit-pitch inning. Perhaps more of the same for the third?

So what's better. You get a good pitch to hit on the first pitch and you hit it hard, but right at someone, or you take a good pitch to hit and don't see another you can hit hard, but at least you work the count, before you make an out?
