Really, the differences there are pretty trivial. I'd say the Orioles were a lot quicker to pull their pitchers when they were flat.

Not my intent, of course. But sometimes the media gets hold of something and blows it way out of proportion. I think they made way too big a deal about Nolan Ryan's philosophy on pitch counts.

Yea I would hate to think the O's could be going into the season without a guy whose job it is to get out 3 batters a week.

(Not a fan of LOOGYs especially on teams with young starters that might not be able to absorb a lot of innings)
